What can every plan do, including free?
On any plan, including the free plan, your client can:
- See your connected wallets and exchanges: balances, when each last synced, sync errors, and accounts whose balances does not match your transaction history.
- Add a wallet by its public address and start syncing it.
- Search your transaction history by account, asset, date range, or type. Search returns up to five pages of about 50 transactions each. For your complete history, use the CSV export in the web app.
- Get your current-year tax headline: your net capital gain, the short-term and long-term split, and income by category.
- See the top five gains or losses behind a tax year.
What does a paid plan add?
On Base and higher, your client can also:
- Show your total portfolio value and how it has performed over a trailing week, month, three months, year, or five years.
- Show the details behind your tax summary: proceeds, cost basis, the individual disposals (the sales, trades, and other taxable events) behind your numbers, and how your realized gains build up over time.
On Prime and higher, your client can also:
- Break your portfolio down per asset.
- Surface tax-loss harvesting opportunities.
Why does my client only show a total but not the breakdown?
On the free plan, it shows your current-year totals: net capital gain, the short-term versus long-term split, and income by category. The detailed breakdown behind those totals, including the individual disposals and realized gains over time, requires a subscription plan.
How do I upgrade?
Upgrades are made in the CoinTracker web app, not inside your AI client. Open CoinTracker in your browser, go to your plan settings, and choose a paid plan. Once your upgrade is active, ask your client again and the paid features are available right away.
