- Sign in to CoinTracker,
- Navigate to the bottom left of the page and click on Account.
- Click Settings.
- From the Account tab, click your email address next to Email.
- Follow the instructions to update your email address.
- Click Update email to complete.
Social sign-in accounts
If you sign in to your account using a Google, Coinbase, or Apple social sign-in, you cannot change your email address, as these accounts don’t use traditional email and password credentials.
If you lose access to your social sign-in provider, you can create a new account, and reach out to CoinTracker support and we’ll transfer your paid plans to it.
Waiting period on email changes
The waiting period is a security precaution on your account. If you recently tried to change your email address, you will need to wait up to 24 hours before updating it again. Avoid changing your email during this 24-hour period, as it may start the restriction again. If the restriction persists after the 24-hour period, please contact CoinTracker support.
Important: CoinTracker support cannot change the email on your account for you. You have to make the change yourself.
